At the time of writing, DailyFoxglove does not run any analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts. The only thing this website saves in your browser is a small record of the choice you made in the cookie banner, kept in local storage under a key that begins with “wh_consent_”. It holds the date of your decision and whether you allowed each optional category, and nothing that could tell us who you are.
If we later add a tool that needs an optional cookie — for example, a counter that shows us which seasonal walks people read about before the blossom or maple weeks — it will stay switched off until you allow it, and this policy will be updated before it goes live.

The headings and body text on this site use typefaces delivered by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser details as part of that request. Google states that it does not use this information to build advertising profiles. No cookie is set by this request, but we mention it here so you have the full picture of what happens when you open one of our pages.
